AAAVC Celebrates 30 Years

AAAVC members celebrating during the 2012 Triennial.

The African American Alumnae/i of Vassar College (AAAVC) will celebrate Triennial XI April 10-12 with a weekend full of events. Attendees—both alumnae/i and current students—will mingle, reminisce, attend workshops, and more.

Scheduled events include an alumnae/i panel, Activism through the Ages, and the faculty-led class The Multiple Roles of Black Professors in Campus Activism at Vassar College, as well as social gatherings, including an April 11 dinner and recognition ceremony honoring June Jackson Christmas '45-4 and Beatrix McCleary Hamburg '44. The dinner will be followed by a dance featuring DJ Curt Kre-Z.

The deadline for registration has been extended to Friday, April 3.
