Wednesday, September 10

The exhibit 24,000 Nautical Miles…Photos From a Circumnavigation by Monica d. Church will be on display through Sept. 17 in the James W. Palmer III Gallery, College Center. The exhibition features photographs from Church’s travels to 12 countries, including Myanmar, Ghana, South Africa, India, and Vietnam.

The men’s soccer team will play Manhattanville College at 4 pm at the Prentiss Sports Complex.

Saturday, September 13

The Seven Sisters Women’s Volleyball Championships will begin at 10 am at the Athletics and Fitness Center. The tournament will continue on September 14.

The men’s soccer team will play SUNY Oneonta at 1 pm at the Prentiss Sports Complex.

Sunday, September 14

The women’s rugby team will play Marist College at 11 am at the Outdoor Space Rugby Field at the Farm. The men’s rugby team will play Manhattanville College/Long Island University at 2 pm at the Outdoor Space Rugby Field at the Farm.

Wednesday, September 17

The women’s soccer team will play Western Connecticut State University at 4 pm at the Prentiss Sports Complex.

Thursday, September 18

As part of the Queer/Trans Performance Series, co-sponsored by Women’s Studies and the LGBTQ Center, Jennifer Finney Boylan P’16 will give a reading at 5 pm in the Sanders Classroom 212 Auditorium.

Friday, September 19

Freshmen Families Weekend will take place through September 21. An opening reception will be on the second floor of the Students’ Building at 8 am.

An opening reception for the Augsburg exhibition will be at 5 pm in the Taylor Hall 102 Auditorium.

Saturday, September 20

The men’s soccer team will play SUNY New Paltz at noon at the Prentiss Sports Complex. The women’s soccer team will follow with a game against Manhattanville College at 2:30 pm at the Prentiss Sports Complex.

The women’s volleyball team will play Rochester Institute of Technology/Clarkson University at 1 pm at the Athletics and Fitness Center.

The women’s field hockey team will play Ramapo College of New Jersey at 1 pm at the Prentiss Sports Complex.

Tuesday, September 23

An opening reception for Two Worlds in My Heart: Photographs by Jorge Abel Santos of his native Mexico and the Hudson Valley will be held at 5 pm in the James W. Palmer III Gallery, College Center. The exhibit will be on display through October 18.

Jess Row, author of 'Your Face in Mine.'

Writer Jess Row will read from his new novel, Your Face in Mine, at 6 pm in the Taylor Hall 203 Auditorium.

Wednesday, September 24

The women’s field hockey team will play Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at 6 pm at the Prentiss Sports Complex.

Thursday, September 25

Pamela Ronald, professor in the Department of Plant Pathology and the Genome Center and director of the Laboratory for Crop Genetics Innovation and Scientific Literacy at the University of California, Davis, will hold a lecture for the Book Club at 5 pm in the Rockefeller Hall 200 Auditorium.

The women’s volleyball team will play Hunter College at 7 pm in the Kenyon Hall Gymnasium.

Saturday, September 27

The women’s soccer team will play Skidmore College at 2 pm at the Prentiss Sports Complex.

Sunday, September 28

The men’s rugby team will play Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at 1 pm at the Outdoor Space Rugby Field at the Farm.

There will be an American Studies Film Screening of Ben Kalina’s ’98 documentary Shored Up at 5:30 pm in the Blodgett Hall Auditorium.

Tuesday, September 30

The women’s field hockey team will play Hartwick College at 4 pm at the Prentiss Sports Complex.
